We are now looking for an experienced Project Engineer for an exciting assignment in advanced process automation. Here you will have the opportunity to work with technically complex projects and contribute to the development of future solutions within the Life Science industry.

The assignment is located in Stockholm (Kista/Sollentuna) and is performed on-site.

About the role

As a Project Engineer in automation, you will be part of a dedicated team working with the entire project lifecycle – from idea and concept to commissioning and follow-up at the customer site, both in Sweden and the rest of the Nordic region.

You will work closely with project managers and other engineers in technically advanced projects where theory and practice meet. The projects make a real difference for customers in the pharmaceutical and process industries.

Responsibilities

Your role includes, among other things:

• Participating in delivery projects throughout the lifecycle – from sales support and concept to commissioning and after-sales
• Developing functional specifications
• Working with system setup, system integration, and programming
• Conducting verification and validation, including testing at customer sites within Life Science
• Ensuring that technical solutions meet requirements for quality, standards, and safety
• Participating in technical meetings and project meetings as well as assisting with site visits
• Independently driving smaller projects or working as part of a larger project team

We are looking for someone who:

• Has an engineering degree and several years of experience in process automation within Life Science, pharmaceuticals, food, or other process industries
• Has programming experience and a strong interest in automation and control of industrial processes
• Has experience in application programming in 800xA or another DCS platform with batch functionality
• Is curious, goal-oriented, and communicative
• Enjoys customer contact and relationship building
• Can work both independently and in a team
• Has good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Holds a valid driver's license (B)
